We are absolutely thrilled that, after three and a half months of hard work, our theater has finally shed its protective scaffolding. Our distinctive Empire-style façade, located in the very heart of Prague, underwent a major renovation while the theater remained fully operational. The project cost over 10 million crowns and fully respects the historical significance of this landmark building.
Under the close supervision of preservationists, experts removed the unsightly modern materials installed in 2006 and carefully restored the original features, including the traditional rusticated stonework and grilles. Thanks to this restoration, Republic Square has regained its stately character. We would like to thank the entire team for their professional approach and meticulous craftsmanship, all completed within a truly tight deadline!
