About the inscenation

Fans of “intergalactic” music, get excited: Star Wars will thrill the Czech Republic. Whether you’re a Jedi or a Sith, conflict can be put aside this time, because it’s not for nothing that they say music brings even the greatest enemies together. Classical music lovers and Star Wars fans alike can look forward to exclusive concerts of the best that the Star Wars films and series have to offer next year. The Czech Live Symphony Orchestra will present several concerts of film music from all episodes of the legendary space saga.

If you are a fan of symphonic music or Star Wars or both, make a note in your calendar that you will be in for a treat in February 2026. The orchestra will play at the Gong Hall in Ostrava, the Sono Center in Brno and the Hybernia Theatre.

The epic film music concert Star Wars Live in Concert is inspired not only by the music of Oscar-winning composer John Williams, but also John Powell, Joseph Shirley and Ludwig Goransson. The score is primarily performed by a symphony orchestra of varying sizes joined in several sections by the chorus.

There is extensive use of the leitmotif and a number of musical themes that represent characters, objects and events in the films.

The concert will feature not only music from the classic saga but also music from new episodes and series such as The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Andor and Obi-Wan. There will also be a musical leitmotif of Eno Cordova by composer Stephen Barton, from the video game Jedi: Fallen Order.

The concert will of course be accompanied by an interesting multimedia video visualization, you can look forward to special effects and lighting scenography inspired by the world of Galactic Empires, Jedi, Mandalorians and others.
