Dave Chappelle, a comedian known for his uncompromising humour and original view of society, will perform for the first time at Prague’s Hybernia Theatre on 20 July. No mobile phones will be allowed at this event (more info below).

Dave Chappelle is considered one of the best comedians of all time. He is the recipient of the 2019 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor from the Kennedy Center and the 2025 NAACP President’s Award. Chappelle’s work in television and film includes his groundbreaking sketch comedy series “Chappelle’s Show,” which became the best-selling television show in DVD history, several Netflix comedy specials, and memorable guest appearances on “Saturday Night Live.” He has won five Emmys, including three for his Netflix specials and two for hosting “Saturday Night Live” (2017, 2021), where his latest 17-minute monologue is the longest in the show’s 50-year history. Chappelle has won six Grammys for Best Comedy Album, including the most recent for “The Dreamer” (2025).

This performance is WITHOUT PHONES. No photo, video or audio recording devices are allowed. Phones and other devices used to capture photos, videos or sound will be placed in Yondr cases upon arrival inside the Hybernia Theatre. You will have your phone/device secured in the case with you during the performance and can have the case and phone unlocked at any time if needed in the designated area for phone use in designated areas.

In the event of a violation of this policy at this performance, patrons will be immediately escorted from the building without refund.
