Roman Horký, composer, singer, and guitarist of one of the most successful folk and tramp music bands in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, has prepared a new concert project for 2025 and 2026 with his band.

Roman Horký and Kamelot are a group of excellent musicians and singers who perform with the highest musical quality and full commitment in theater halls, cultural centers, Sokol halls, outdoor stages, festivals, and even around campfires. Kamelot lives for music and original compositions, bringing exceptionally beautiful moments and musical experiences to concertgoers.

In the concert project “THE BEST OF KAMELOT” (90 min.) and the launch of their new album …v čekárně (In the Waiting Room), the band returns to songs from their first two albums, composed between 1981 and 1991. This was the period that gave Kamelot the albums Zachraňte koně (Save the Horses) and Tajný výpravy (Secret Expeditions) and when the band won the hearts of thousands of listeners. The concert program consists of such now legendary songs as Zachraňte koně, Cikáni, Amulet, Čas rozchodů, Psáno na březové kůře, Tajný výpravy, Krajina větrných mlýnů, Vzpomínka na kamaráda, and other songs from the band’s first decade.

“Zachraňte koně is Kamelot’s first and most successful studio album. It was released in 1990. With nearly 100,000 copies sold, it was awarded a multi-platinum record. The title song Zachraňte koně became the hit of the decade in folk and country music.”

In this concert, Roman Horký and KAMELOT will also present several songs from their new album entitled “…v čekárně” (In the Waiting Room). The new, genre-defying album has already been presented.

The release of other singles and songs from this album during 2025 will herald a Czechoslovak tour. The concerts and album launches will begin on November 9, 2025, with a concert in Prague at the Hybernia Theater, followed by a tour of the Czech Republic and part of the Slovak Republic. Kamelot will perform in Bratislava on November 22, 2025, at DK Zrkadlový háj. This concert will feature a number of the band’s greatest hits as well as new songs. And, as is Kamelot’s pleasant custom, some unexpected songs from their history.
