THE SWEET in 2026 at only two venues in the Czech Republic: PRAGUE and MIKULOV!

The legendary British band THE SWEET, which defined glam rock and sold over 30 million albums, has chosen only two cities for its exclusive concerts in the Czech Republic in 2026: Prague and Mikulov.

On August 14, 2026, they will perform in the prestigious Hybernia Theater in Prague, and on August 15, 2026, they will perform outdoors in the picturesque Mikulov Amphitheater.

“We chose Prague and Mikulov from a huge number of offers. We want to play where there is soul and atmosphere,” says Willi Wrede, the band’s manager for Central Europe.

The Sweet will bring not only a selection of immortal hits such as Ballroom Blitz, Fox On The Run, and Love Is Like Oxygen, but also new songs from their successful album FULL CIRCLE, which climbed to 19th place on the prestigious Media Control Charts in 2024.

The band performed in the Czech Republic under the Brnokoncert agency in 2017 in Prague and Brno, and a year later celebrated 50 years since its inception at the Sono Center in Brno.

In Mikulov, The Sweet will be preceded by a support band, whose name will be announced in the spring of 2026. The organizer will select the opening act based on a competition – contact for sending demo recordings is mersey@volny.cz.
